What profile optimization covers
Your Google Business Profile is the box that shows your hours, phone, reviews and photos on Google Search and Google Maps. For many customers it is the first and only thing they look at before they call. We set it up or clean it up, then keep it accurate every month.
If you work at your customers' homes, your profile can hide the street address and show a service area instead. How Google Maps rankings really work
Google says local results depend on three things: relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well your profile matches the search. Distance is how far you are from the person searching. Prominence is how well known you are, which includes reviews and your website.
Distance is the one nobody can change. A service area business ranks best on the map near its verified address. So we make you as strong as possible around it, and we win wider areas through your website, where distance matters far less. Anyone who says otherwise is selling you something.
What we will not do
Some tactics work for a few weeks and then get a profile suspended. We never use them:
